Biography
Peter Facinelli is an American actor. Born in Queens, New York, he trained at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York, where he studied under William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, and made his screen debut in the 1995 film Angela.
He is known for playing Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight film series, beginning with Twilight (2008) and continuing through its sequels up to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012). Other credits include the series Nurse Jackie (2009–2015) as Dr. Fitch Cooper and Supergirl (2015) as Maxwell Lord. He has also appeared in films such as Can't Hardly Wait (1998) and The Scorpion King (2002).
