Biography
Peter Gaffney is an American animation screenwriter, story editor and television producer. He is best known for his writing on The Simpsons (1989) and Rugrats (1991), and as co-creator with Gábor Csupó of Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (1994).
Gaffney attended Harvard University, where he was an editor of the Harvard Lampoon. He has written for series including Married... with Children (1987), Beavis and Butt-Head (1993), Daria (1997), Recess (1997) and The Legend of Tarzan (2001). He served as senior story editor on the first five seasons of Rugrats, for which he received an Emmy Award. He has also produced the animated series Nightmare Ned and Jumanji (1996).
