Biography
Peter Jonfield is a British character actor. He was born in 1946 in Epping, Essex, England.
He has worked in film and television since the 1970s, appearing in supporting roles in productions including Murder by Decree (1979), Time Bandits (1981), Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982), Clockwise (1986), Escape from Sobibor (1987), A Fish Called Wanda (1988) as Inspector Marvin, and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994). He has also appeared in television series such as Sherlock Holmes (1984), The Bill, Heartbeat and Foyle's War (2002).
Jonfield has frequently played police officers of various ranks.
