Biography

Peter Mark Richman, also credited as Mark Richman, was an American actor in film and television. Born Marvin Jack Richman in Philadelphia on 16 April 1927, he trained as a pharmacist before joining the Actors Studio in New York and beginning a stage career that included Broadway roles in the 1950s.

His feature film debut came in William Wyler's Friendly Persuasion (1956), in which he played Gardner 'Gard' Jordan. Richman appeared in around 30 films and more than 130 television series from the 1950s until his retirement in 2011. He starred in the series Cain's Hundred (1961–62) and had recurring roles in Dynasty (1981–84) and Three's Company (1978–79). He died in Woodland Hills, California, on 14 January 2021.
