Biography
Peter Michael Goetz is an American actor. He was born on 10 December 1941 in Buffalo, New York. He studied at the State University of New York at Fredonia, Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the University of Minnesota.
After university, Goetz joined the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, where he appeared in numerous productions over four decades. His film credits include Father of the Bride (1991), My Girl (1991), Glory (1989) and Jumpin' Jack Flash (1986). On television he has appeared in Twin Peaks (1990), Arrested Development (2003), Gilmore Girls (2000) and The West Wing (1999), among many other series. He played Dr. Stein in an episode of The Golden Girls (1990).
Goetz has been married to Constance Fleurat since 1966; they have two children.
