Biography
Peter Walpole is a British production designer and set decorator. He was born in Edmonton, Middlesex, England.
He began his career in set decoration, working on films including Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), V for Vendetta (2006), Speed Racer (2008), Cloud Atlas (2012) and Jupiter Ascending (2015). He has collaborated extensively with the Wachowskis, serving as set decorator or art department member on several of their projects before taking production design roles on Sense8 (2015–2018) and co-production designing The Matrix Resurrections (2021) with Hugh Bateup.
His production design credits also include The Book of Clarence (2023) and the series Talamasca: The Secret Order (2025). He has received a Primetime Emmy nomination and other awards and nominations for his work.
