Biography
Phil Daniels is an English actor and musician. Born Philip William Daniels on 25 October 1958 in Islington, London, he trained at the Anna Scher Children's Theatre School and began working professionally as a teenager.
He is known for film roles including Jimmy Cooper in Quadrophenia (1979), Richards in Scum (1979) and Fetcher in Chicken Run (2000). Television credits include Kevin Wicks in EastEnders, Grandad Trotter in Rock & Chips (2010–2011), Maester Gerardys in House of the Dragon (2022) and Ronnie Devereux in Gangs of London (2020). He has also appeared in Misfits, Midsomer Murders, Endeavour, Inside No. 9 and Agatha Christie's Poirot.
Daniels has contributed to music, including narrating tracks on Blur's Parklife album, and has performed on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
