Biography
Phil Hignett is a British-based editor whose credits include the comedy series Sex Education (2020–2021), Stath Lets Flats (2021), Dead Pixels (2021) and Year of the Rabbit (2019). He edited the feature film Finding Emily (2026).
Hignett began his career at Marshall Street Editors, where he progressed to editor, and has also worked in advertising. He joined the Final Cut roster in 2023. His editing on Sex Education earned a win for Best Edited Series: Comedy at the 2022 BFE Cut Above Awards and a nomination at the RTS Craft and Design Awards.
