Biography
Phil Morrison is an American film and television director. Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he studied film at New York University, where his student short Tater Tomater screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
Morrison is best known for his debut feature Junebug (2005), an Academy Award-nominated film. His subsequent features include All Is Bright (2013). He has also directed episodes of the series Upright Citizens Brigade (1998–2000) and Enlightened (2011), as well as music videos and commercials, including Apple's "Get a Mac" campaign in 2006. He has served as executive producer on several independent films, including Wendy and Lucy (2008) and Meek's Cutoff (2010).
