Biography
Philip Murphy is an Irish production designer who has worked in film, television and commercials. He began in the property and set decoration departments before moving into production design.
His credits as production designer include the Netflix series Wednesday (2022–), for which he received an IFTA Award, Penny Dreadful, The Alienist, Into the Badlands, The Tourist and Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale, as well as the films Vivarium (2019), Zone 414 (2021) and The Offering (2022). He is a BAFTA Television Craft Award winner and has received Emmy nominations and Art Directors Guild awards.
