Biography
Philippe Nahon was a French actor. Born in Paris on 24 December 1938, he died in the same city on 19 April 2020.
He made his screen debut in Jean-Pierre Melville's Le Doulos (1962). From the 1990s he appeared in films by directors including Gaspar Noé, for whom he played the butcher in Carne (1991) and I Stand Alone (1998) and had a cameo in Irreversible (2002), Mathieu Kassovitz in La Haine (1995), and Christophe Gans in Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001). Other credits include High Tension (2003) and The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec (2010), in which he played Professeur Ménard. He was married to Elisabeth Weissman.
