Biography
Phyllis Carlyle was an American producer, talent manager and former casting director. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she began her career in casting and later managed actors including Geena Davis, Willem Dafoe, Melanie Griffith and Andy Garcia. She secured early breaks for performers such as Ted Danson.
Her producing credits include executive producer on The Accidental Tourist (1988), producer on Se7en (1995) and executive producer on Maze (2000) and Pathology (2008). She held production deals with several major studios. Carlyle died in Encino, California, in 2022.
