Biography
Pierre Cottrell (1945–2015) was a French film producer. He was closely associated with Les Films du Losange, the company founded by Barbet Schroeder and Éric Rohmer, and worked as a producer on several of Rohmer’s films in the Six Moral Tales series.
His credits include My Night at Maud’s (1969), Claire’s Knee (1970) and Love in the Afternoon (1972). He served as executive producer on Jean Eustache’s The Mother and the Whore (1973) and also produced My Little Loves (1974). Cottrell later worked in the United States and with directors including Jacques Rivette.
