Biography
Pierre Maguelon was a French actor. Born Maurice Couzinié on 3 September 1933 in Labruguière, Tarn, he died on 10 July 2010 in Perpignan.
He began his career in the 1950s performing in cabarets under the name Petit Bobo, after studying at the Beaux-Arts in Montpellier. He appeared in premières for Georges Brassens and performed on Mireille's Petit Conservatoire. He took his stage name from Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, where he lived as a child.
Maguelon was best known for playing Inspector Marcel Terrasson in the television series Les Brigades du Tigre (1974–1983). His film credits include The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972), The Phantom of Liberty (1974), My Father's Glory (1990) and My Mother's Castle (1990), as well as the role of Carbon de Castel-Jaloux in Cyrano de Bergerac (1990).
