Biography
Pierre-Yves Gayraud is a French costume designer. He was born on 28 January 1963 in Tulle, Corrèze.
Gayraud began working in film in the early 1990s. His credits include Indochine (1992), for which he received a César nomination; The Bourne Identity (2002); Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006); Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007); The Three Musketeers (2011); Cloud Atlas (2012); Beauty and the Beast (2014); and The Hundred-Foot Journey (2014). He has collaborated several times with director Tom Tykwer.
He won the Deutscher Filmpreis for Perfume and, with Kym Barrett, for Cloud Atlas. He has also designed costumes for the television series Babylon Berlin (2017–2022).
