Biography
Pilou Asbæk is a Danish actor. He graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 2008 and had his breakthrough in the 2010 film R, for which he received the Bodil and Robert awards for best actor. He is known for his role as Kasper Juul in the Danish television series Borgen (2010–2013) and as Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones (2016–2019).
Asbæk has appeared in international films including Lucy (2014), Ghost in the Shell (2017), Uncharted (2022) and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), in which he played Kordax. He received a Shooting Stars Award at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival.
