Biography
Quincy Tyler Bernstine is an American actress and audiobook narrator. She was born on 27 March 1974 in Madison, Wisconsin, and trained at Brown University, where she received a BA, and at the University of California, San Diego, where she earned an MFA.
Bernstine is known for stage work, including Broadway appearances in In the Next Room (or the Vibrator Play) (2009) and Doubt (2024), for which she received a Tony Award nomination. She has won multiple Obie Awards, including for Sustained Excellence of Performance in 2019, and has appeared in Off-Broadway productions such as Marys Seacole and Well, I'll Let You Go.
Her screen credits include the films Rachel Getting Married (2008), Manchester by the Sea (2016) and The Tender Bar (2021), and television roles in Power (2017–2020), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2007) and Furious (2026) as Nora Washington.
