Biography
Rachel Brosnahan is an American actress. She was born on 12 July 1990 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 2012.
She is known for her role as Miriam 'Midge' Maisel in the series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023), for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. Earlier television work includes a recurring role in House of Cards (2013–2015). Her film credits include Beautiful Creatures (2013), The Finest Hours (2016) and Patriots Day (2016). She plays Lois Lane in Superman (2025).
Brosnahan made her Broadway debut in the 2013 revival of The Big Knife and appeared in the 2016 off-Broadway production of Othello.
