Biography
Rachel Goldberg is an American film and television director and writer. She has directed episodes of series including Veronica Mars (2004), American Horror Story (2017), The Sinner (2017), American Gods (2017), Cloak & Dagger (2018), Mayans M.C. (2018), Raising Dion (2019), Resident Evil (2022), A Friend of the Family (2022), Gen V (2023) and Agatha All Along (2024).
Goldberg earned an MFA in directing for film and theatre from the California Institute of the Arts and a BA in theatre and psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Her short film work includes Muted (2014), which sold to HBO, and Neighbors (2012). She has been supported by programmes including the AFI Directing Workshop for Women and the Sundance/Women in Film Financing Initiative, and was named on the Alice Initiative List of emerging female directors in 2020.
