Biography
Rachel Shukert is an American writer and producer. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she studied theatre at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and began her career as a playwright and actor before moving into television writing.
Her television credits include writing for Red Band Society (2014), Supergirl (2015–2016), GLOW (2017–2019, also executive story editor), Cursed (2020), The Baby-Sitters Club (2020–2021, which she created and showran), The Handmaid’s Tale (2022, also executive producer) and Nine Perfect Strangers (2025). She has also served as executive producer on The ’Burbs (2026).
