Biography
Rachel Specter is an American writer, producer and actress. Born in Tampa, Florida, she graduated with honours from the University of Florida. She began her career as an actress, appearing in films including The House Bunny (2008) and Prom Night (2008), and guest-starring in series such as How I Met Your Mother, Gilmore Girls and Entourage.
Specter later moved into writing and producing. She wrote episodes of One Tree Hill and Cougar Town, and served as a writer and producer on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015–2019). She has also produced series including Hyperlinked (2017) and Indebted (2020).
