Biography
Ralf Alastair John Little (born 8 February 1980) is an English actor, writer, presenter, narrator and former semi-professional footballer. He grew up in Greater Manchester and briefly studied medicine at the University of Manchester before leaving to pursue acting.
He is best known for playing Antony Royle in the BBC sitcom The Royle Family (1998–2000, with returns in 2006, 2009 and 2010) and Jonny Keogh in the first six series of Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (2001–2006). Other television credits include DI Neville Parker in Death in Paradise (2020–2024), appearances in Doctor Who, Midsomer Murders, Lewis and Inside No. 9, and a role in the film 24 Hour Party People (2002).
Little has written for and starred in The Café (2011–2013), narrated Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm (2018–2022) and its spin-offs, and played semi-professional football for several clubs. He received an Olivier Award nomination for his stage work.
