Biography
Rashel Novikoff (1897–1980) was an American actress. She began her screen career in 1974 at the age of 77 and appeared in a series of supporting roles, typically as elderly women, in American films of the 1970s.
Her credits include Mrs Rothman in Harry and Tonto (1974), Aunt Mema in Lenny (1974), the Woman in Hotel in The Sunshine Boys (1975), Mrs Tupperman in Next Stop, Greenwich Village (1976, credited as Rachel Novikoff), Aunt Tessie Moskowitz in Annie Hall (1977), Mrs Shapiro in the television film Siege (1978) and Sadie in Boardwalk (1979). She died in Brooklyn, New York.
