Biography
Raymond Thomas Bailey (1904–1980) was an American actor who worked on the Broadway stage, in films and on television. He is best known for his role as banker Milburn Drysdale in the series The Beverly Hillbillies (1962–1971).
Bailey appeared in numerous films from the late 1930s onwards, including an uncredited board member in Sabrina (1954), Doctor Thomas Silver in The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) and Scottie's Doctor in Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo (1958). His television credits include multiple episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and guest roles in The Twilight Zone and Bonanza.
