Biography
Raymond Cusick was a British television production designer. He joined the BBC in 1960 as a staff designer and contributed to many programmes, including early serials of Doctor Who (1963).
He is best known for designing the Daleks for the 1963 serial The Daleks, after scheduling conflicts prevented the original designer from taking the assignment. Cusick worked on Doctor Who until 1966.
Cusick also provided production design for series including The Pallisers (1974), The Duchess of Duke Street (1976) and Miss Marple: 4.50 from Paddington (1987). He died in 2013.
