Biography
Raymond Lamy (1903–1982) was a French film editor and occasional director. Born in Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, he worked in the French film industry from the early 1930s until the late 1970s.
He edited numerous films directed by Robert Bresson, including A Man Escaped (1956), Pickpocket (1959), Au Hasard Balthazar (1966), Mouchette (1967), A Gentle Woman (1969) and Four Nights of a Dreamer (1971). Earlier credits include Fanny (1932) and Poison (1951). Lamy also directed the features Clodoche (1938) and Miroir (1947).
