Biography
Rebecca Ryan is a British actress from Manchester. She began acting at the age of six, appearing on stage alongside her brother, and took the role of Debbie Gallagher in the Channel 4 series Shameless at the age of eleven, playing the character from 2004 to 2009.
Ryan has appeared in other television series including State of Play (2003) as Karen Collins, Waterloo Road (2009–2011) as Vicki MacDonald, and multiple roles in Casualty. She played Lydia Chambers in Coronation Street (2021–2022) and joined the cast of Hollyoaks as Beth Keane in 2026. She has no formal acting training and has cited her time on the set of Shameless as a learning experience.
