Biography
Rene Gube is an American comedian, actor, writer and producer. Born on 30 December 1979 in Waukegan, Illinois, he grew up in San Diego and began performing through speech and debate at Mount Carmel High School.
He is known for recurring roles as Threepeat on the TBS sitcom Ground Floor (2013–2015) and as Father Brah on the CW series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2015–2019), where he also worked as a writer and producer. Gube has appeared in guest roles on series including The Office (2005), Community (2009) and Superstore (2015), and has written episodes for Brockmire (2017) and Superstore.
Gube serves as writer, co-executive producer and recurring actor on the FX series The Bear (2022–), for which he has received Emmy recognition.
