Biography

Reynaldo Villalobos is an American cinematographer and director. Born on 9 November 1940 in Los Angeles, California, he served as a photographer in the US Navy before entering the film industry as a labourer and camera equipment deliverer. He later worked as first assistant cameraman and camera operator for cinematographer John Alonzo.

Villalobos served as director of photography on films including Nine to Five (1980), Risky Business (1983), Major League (1989), A Bronx Tale (1993) and Not Another Teen Movie (2001). He was cinematographer for six episodes of the series Breaking Bad (2008). He has also directed episodes of television series and television films such as Conagher (1991).

He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Directors Guild of America. Villalobos has received Emmy Award nominations for his cinematography work.
