Biography
Richard Anderson was an American film and television actor. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, he began his career after studying at the Actors' Laboratory Theatre, working in radio and stock theatre before becoming a contract player at MGM in the early 1950s.
His film roles included Chief Engineer Quinn in Forbidden Planet (1956) and Maj. Saint-Auban in Stanley Kubrick's Paths of Glory (1957). On television he appeared in series such as Perry Mason, Bonanza and Columbo, and played Oscar Goldman in The Six Million Dollar Man (1974–1978) and its spin-off The Bionic Woman (1976–1978), reprising the role in later television films. He also featured in Knight Rider, The A-Team and Murder, She Wrote.
