Biography
Richard Collier (1919–2000) was an American actor, also credited as Dick Collier. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he worked extensively in film and television from the 1950s onwards, appearing in both credited and uncredited roles.
His better-known screen credits include Blazing Saddles (1974) as Dr. Sam Johnson, Christine (1983) as Pepper Boyd, Hello, Dolly! (1969) as Vandergelder's Barber, Batman (1966) as Otto Puffendorfer, and The Chase (1966). He also appeared in episodes of television series such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Kung Fu, and Little House on the Prairie.
