Biography
Richard Easton (1933–2019) was a Canadian stage, television and film actor.
He began his career with Ottawa's Canadian Repertory Theatre and later worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and on Broadway. He won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance in The Invention of Love (2001). Easton is perhaps best known for portraying Brian Hammond in the BBC series The Brothers (1972–1976).
His film credits include Henry V (1989), Dead Again (1991) as Father Timothy, Finding Forrester (2000) and Revolutionary Road (2008). He also appeared in guest roles on series including Doctor Who, Frasier, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Boardwalk Empire.
