Biography

Rick Wentworth is a British film and television composer, conductor, orchestrator and arranger. His film composing career began with the score for Withnail and I (1987), directed by Bruce Robinson, followed by Robinson's How to Get Ahead in Advertising (1989).

Wentworth's television credits include Cracker, for which he received a BAFTA nomination, Between the Lines, Ultimate Force and Jonathan Creek. He has conducted scores for films including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Dark Shadows (2012) and Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014). He has also worked on operas and arrangements with Roger Waters and Paul McCartney.
