Biography
Rikiya Koyama is a Japanese actor and voice actor affiliated with the Haiyuza Theatre Company. Born on 18 December 1963 in Kyoto, he graduated from Ritsumeikan University and studied drama at Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music before joining the company. He made his acting debut in the television series Kamen Rider Black RX in 1989.
Koyama is known for voice roles including Mamoru Takamura in Hajime no Ippo, Yamato in Naruto Shippuden, Ging Freecss in Hunter x Hunter, Kogoro Mouri (from 2009) in Case Closed, and Coyote Starrk in Bleach. He has also provided the Japanese dub for actors including George Clooney and Kiefer Sutherland. In 2011 he received the Kei Tomiyama Memorial Award at the Seiyū Awards.
