Biography
Rob Renzetti is an American animator, writer and director. He attended the California Institute of the Arts after studying art history at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He created the Nickelodeon series My Life as a Teenage Robot (2003–2007) and directed episodes of Family Guy (1999), Dexter's Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack. He has also worked as a writer and storyboard artist on 2 Stupid Dogs and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, for which he received an Emmy Award in 2009. Later credits include supervising producer on Gravity Falls (2012), executive producer on Big City Greens and co-executive producer and director on Kid Cosmic (2021). He wrote the novel The Horrible Bag of Terrible Things (2023).
