Biography
Rob Weiss is an American writer, producer and director. His feature debut Amongst Friends (1993), which he wrote, directed and produced, screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
Weiss attended Woodmere Academy with Doug Ellin, creator of the HBO series Entourage (2004–2011). He wrote or co-wrote 20 episodes of the series and served as executive producer or co-executive producer on 67 episodes. He later wrote episodes of How to Make It in America (2010) and Ballers (2015–2019), on which he was also executive producer. Weiss wrote the story for the 2015 Entourage film adaptation.
