Biography
Robert A. Ferretti (born 24 February 1948) is an American film editor. While at school in New England he made his own films and won a contest sponsored by the American Cinema Editors. After service in the Navy and studies at Quinnipiac College in Hartford, Connecticut, he moved to Los Angeles. He began his professional career editing NBC news, documentaries and series such as Gunsmoke. His first feature credit as editor was Zapped (1982).
Ferretti has edited numerous films, including Die Hard 2 (1990), Rocky V (1990, as additional film editor), Tango & Cash (1989), Under Siege (1992), Out for Justice (1991), On Deadly Ground (1994) and Red Cliff (2008). He has also worked as a producer on several projects and directed the low-budget feature Fear. He is a graduate of Columbia College Hollywood.
