Biography
Robert A. Silverman is a Canadian actor. He has appeared in five films directed by David Cronenberg: Rabid (1977), The Brood (1979), Scanners (1981), Naked Lunch (1991) as Hans, and eXistenZ (1999). He is sometimes credited as Bob Silverman or Robert Silverman.
Silverman’s other screen credits include Prom Night (1980), Waterworld (1995), Jason X (2001) and episodes of Friday the 13th: The Series (1988–1989). He received a Genie Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for The Brood and a Gemini Award nomination for his guest role in the series The Eleventh Hour (2003). His career spans feature films and television from the mid-1960s to the mid-2000s.
