Biography
Robert Alan Beuth is an American actor, playwright and artist. He was born on 30 November 1957 in Albany, New York.
Beuth studied acting with William Esper and Larry Moss, and trained in puppet and mask making with Julie Taymor in New York City in the early 1980s. He has worked extensively in theatre, creating masks and puppets for his own pieces and for companies including the Rubicon Theater and the Broad Stage.
His screen credits include the role of Man on Aisle in When Harry Met Sally... (1989), Store Manager in Ghostbusters II (1989), George Armistead in Outbreak (1995) and numerous guest appearances in television series such as Night Stand with Dick Dietrick, Friends (as Professor Klarik), Grey's Anatomy and Bones.
