Biography
Robert Swann was a British actor. He appeared in film and television from the late 1960s until the early 2000s, and was also active on stage with the National Theatre and in the West End.
His early film role was as Rowntree in if.... (1968). He played Konstantin Levin in the 1977 television serial Anna Karenina and Colonel Brandon in the 1981 BBC series Sense and Sensibility. Other credits include North Sea Hijack (1980), The Madness of King George (1994) and an episode of Midsomer Murders (1998). His final credited role was in Wire in the Blood (2004).
Swann was born in the New Forest, Hampshire. He was married to actress Susan Brodrick from 1971 until his death in 2006.
