Biography
Robert Walden (born Robert Wolkowitz) is an American actor. He was born on 25 September 1943 in New York City and trained at the City College of New York and the Actors Studio.
Walden is best known for playing journalist Joe Rossi on the series Lou Grant (1977–1982), for which he received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. His other regular television roles include Joe Waters on Brothers (1984–1989) and Glenn Newman on Happily Divorced (2011–2013).
His film credits include Donald Segretti in All the President's Men (1976), Elliot Whitter in Capricorn One (1977), and roles in The Hospital (1971), Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask (1972) and Blue Sunshine (1976). He has also appeared in guest roles on series including Columbo (1973) as Billy Fine, Starsky & Hutch (1975) and Murder, She Wrote* (1985).
