Biography
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is an American playwright, screenwriter and comic book writer. He wrote the screenplay for the 2013 film Carrie and contributed as a writer to the television series Glee (2011–14).
He studied at Georgetown University, McGill University and the Yale School of Drama. Aguirre-Sacasa began his career writing plays before working in comics for Marvel and later Archie Comics, where he became chief creative officer. His television credits include writing and producing on Big Love (2009–11) and showrunning Riverdale (2017–23), Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018–20) and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin (2022).
