Biography
Robin Hughes (1920–1989) was a British film and television actor. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to English parents, he served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War, rising to the rank of lieutenant commander before moving to the United States in 1948.
He appeared in numerous films and television series from 1947 to 1971. His credits include Hue and Cry (1947), The Flame and the Arrow (1950), Cyrano de Bergerac (1950), Quo Vadis (1951), Dial M for Murder (1954) as Police Sergeant O'Brien, The Mole People (1956), Auntie Mame (1958) as Brian O'Bannion, and an episode of The Twilight Zone (1960) as the Howling Man. He also made guest appearances in series such as Perry Mason and The Saint.
