Biography
Rodolfo Sánchez is an Argentine cinematographer born in 1944. He began his career photographing films in Argentina before moving to Brazil, where he became a prominent figure in Latin American cinema.
Sánchez served as director of photography on Pixote (1980) and Kiss of the Spider Woman (1985), both directed by Héctor Babenco. He has collaborated with directors including Ana Carolina on Amélia (2000) and Ugo Giorgetti on the Boleiros films. In 2003 he won the Golden Kikito for Best Cinematography at the Festival de Gramado for Noite de São João.
