Biography

Roger Ward is an Australian actor and scriptwriter. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, he began his career with stage and radio roles in his youth. He later wrote the novel and film The Set (1970) and worked as a script editor on the television series Homicide, among other writing credits.

Ward has appeared in more than one hundred film and television productions, often in tough-guy parts and frequently performing his own stunts. He is known for his role as Fifi in Mad Max (1979), Bob Taylor in The Man from Hong Kong (1975), Brophy in Quigley Down Under (1990) and Chief Guard Ritter in Turkey Shoot (1982). He was also a professional wrestler.
