Biography
Roland MacLeod (1935–2010) was an English actor who worked in film and television. He was born in London and appeared in the BBC sitcom Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em (1973).
His other television credits include Coronation Street, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Ripping Yarns, Sykes, Please Sir!, The Goodies and Misfits (2009). He also appeared in Grange Hill and played the head teacher in The Boot Street Band.
MacLeod's film roles include the vicar in A Fish Called Wanda (1988), Dr Crippen in The Last Remake of Beau Geste (1977) and a part in Charleston (1977). Before becoming an actor he taught English and drama.
