Roma Maffia is an American actress born on 31 May 1958 in New York. She began her acting career in off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway productions. Her film debut came in 1994 as Carmen in Ron Howard's The Paper.
Maffia is known for playing Grace Alvarez on the series Profiler (1996–2000) and Dr. Liz Cruz on Nip/Tuck (2003–2010). She has appeared in films including Disclosure (1994) and has had recurring or guest roles in series such as Chicago Hope, Law & Order, Grey's Anatomy and Pretty Little Liars.
