Biography
Rose Leslie is a Scottish actress. Born Rose Eleanor Arbuthnot-Leslie on 9 February 1987 in Aberdeen, she trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 2008.
She is known for her roles as Gwen Dawson in the ITV series Downton Abbey (2010–2015) and Ygritte in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2012–2014). Other credits include Maia Rindell in The Good Fight (2017–2019), DS Kirsten Longacre in the BBC series Vigil (2021–), and Louise Bourget in the film Death on the Nile (2022).
Leslie is married to actor Kit Harington.
