Biography
Ross Boatman is an English actor. He trained at RADA and began his career in fringe theatre before making his television debut in 1988.
He is known for playing firefighter Kevin Medhurst in the ITV series London's Burning (1988–1995, 2000) and Derek in the BBC Two sitcom Mum (2016–2019). Boatman has also appeared as Harvey Monroe in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders since 2021, and in Stay Close (2021), Paddington (2014), Cassandra's Dream (2007) and Penelope (2006).
Boatman is a professional poker player and a member of the Hendon Mob.
