Biography
Roy Campanella II is a television director and producer. He is the son of Baseball Hall of Famer Roy Campanella. He graduated with honours from Harvard University and earned an MBA from Columbia University.
After making short films, he began directing episodic television in the early 1980s, with one of his first assignments an episode of Lou Grant (1982). His credits include episodes of Knight Rider (1985), Beverly Hills, 90210 (three episodes, 1999–2000), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (1997) and Diagnosis: Murder, as well as television films such as Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story (1988) and Brother Future (1991). The latter earned him a Directors Guild of America award. He has also produced a series of television films for Black Entertainment Television.
